Well, Packers beat the Seahawks today in what could be Brett Favre's last game. He threw a TD and got a standing ovation when the Packers took him out before the last play. Fans were all chanting "One more year" throughout the whole game.He has said that he'll make his decision sometime in the off-season if he will retire or not. What do you guys think he'll do?I honestly would like to see him stick around next year. Mainly because im a huge packers fan and dont wanna see him go lol. I think that if Green/Walker and the rest of there players are healthy, and Green Bay can strengthen their secondary a bit, we may see a glimpse of the old Favre, and the Packers have a chance at getting deep in the playoffs..

For some reason, I see him coming back. I hope we're right. With a solid draft, FA, and the return of some healthy players, I think we could make some real noise next year. People may scoff, but remember Dallas winning the SB after a 1-15 Season? I'm not making guarantees or predicting a SB, just laying the "anything is possible" foundation.Wait til KyleOrton18 is done with cheerleading practice, he'll be here to show his a$$ in this thread like he always does.

The ints were mostly his fault, but no one can tell me that injuries had no part in his poor decision making this year. He wanted to win, he did nothing different that he has done in the past, other than having faith in recievers who couldn't be counted on. If he goes, he goes...if he stays, he stays, but bring back our injured both at wideout and RB, plus plug in some O-Linemen out of FA or the draft and all the naysayers can chew on their tongues. Take out marvin harrison, and edge...Peyton wouldn't look like peyton and that is only two players in his arsenal. I don't care what anyone says. I'm solid in my belief on this one. You can believe what you want.Washed up. lmao. Okay. [IMG]

[IMG] </div> It doesnt matter if he has Randy Moss or Freddie Mitchell out there, when you throw the ball into double coverage you will most likely get intercepted. Brett Favre has thrown 28 of those interceptions. He has the lowest QB rating of his career, and the lowest amount of receptions over 20 yards since 1993.Honestly...what makes you think he can still get the job done? A win over Senaca Wallace, Peter Warrick, and the Seattle Seahawks backups?

Even w/ the 29 picks...other than the Balitmore game, we were a playmaker or two away from a winning season. Look at the spread of points per game. We were losing by 3 here, 7 there, 2 there...ect. I know damn well had we had a playmaker out there to help Brett, we'd not be 4-12. Our D did much better than people expected from them. When our O needed bailing out, we had no one to go to. 7 deep in the RB corps. Ahman is more than a back, he's another outlet who usually produced, Walker could have been the spark we needed in the deep ball. Look at the whole picture...just don't focus on Brett and the INTs. I know you're not that shortsighted, VenOm.

FARV will be back at least 1 more year. His contract runs thru 2010, and he's really close to all the QB records.

I don't think he'll come back now that the coach has been named. If it was Mariuchi, he'd definatly be back, but now I think he's gone forever. Packers GM has said he's not going to break the bank if Favre returns to load up for one last Super Bowl, so he has no incentive to return unless he wants all that green left, and if he wants those records.

He sucks now. He's past his prime. Management is stupid. You just can't do this sentimental crap anymore. They need to play Aaron Rodgers, or do what Houston did with Clemens, give him a deadline to decide, and let him go if he doesn't decide by then, altough in Clemens' case, it might be a good thing, considering his injuries in September and October.

I'd take him over Kyle Orton any day [IMG] quite honestly, (maybe its part of the homer in me) but other then maybe Tom Brady, there isnt anyone i'd rather have running the two mintue drill for me then Brett Favre. Everyone says he is washed up and sucks because of all the INT's he threw by throwing into double/triple coverage. No one takes into consideration that he was missing a number one WR and RB. Not to mention that there is a good chance that Number1 WR would have went up and caught most of those passes. He was trying to make something happen. That is how Brett Favre plays, and at least he has the balls to try that every game. He is still one of, if not the toughest, players in the NFL. He takes his criticism one week, and goes out the next week and tries the exact same thing. I was watching one of the games on ESPN this year, and the announcers were saying, that is how Favre plays. People have asked him if he'd consider changing his style because of the new NFL, and he's said thats the way he's always played, and thats how he'll continue to play. That is what makes Brett Favre Brett Favre

And that's why the Pack lost all those games. [IMG]

Ignoring all those loser Viking/Bears fans... 1. 2006, team will be healthy 2. 2006, we have $20 million in cap to use. 3. We have the 6th pick. Javon Walker and Ahman Green will be back...It will be a good year.

I agree. Who would have thought the Bears would of gotten to the playoffs this past season? I donno bout you guys but I never would of said they did. That division is so up and down that it is hard to tell who is going to the playoffs, it's usually up for grabs. Packers, I think, will have the best offense in that division next season. But the Bears will have the best defense, so I think it will go down to those 2. I think the Vikings and Lions are still developing and won't give the Bears or the Pack many problems.
