Take your pick. The next time you're on a foreign vacation just mention my name and you'll get the Presidential suite at your hotel, Russian caviar, Dom Perignon, Cuban cigars with your dinner, free lap dances, limo service for the price of a cheap taxi ride and a whole host of other goodies. You can thank me when you get back (if you can find me).
In a hand basket...if I don't change my ways. Five minutes down there and the Devil will be begging God to take me.
Not worried about it. I'm pretty sure I'm square with my maker. Not afraid to meet him down the road.
I don't like the entire concept. You can do any damn thing but profess faith in Jesus and you are forgiven. While non Christians no matter how many positive things they do are burning in hell.
A family member emailed me today and said she went to church and the pastor or whoever the person is who talks told everyone to take a Bible to someone they love. So they left one on my doorstep. And it pissed me off. Like what do I do with this? Throw it away? Give it back? And why does this church person think anyone wants or needs it?
When I rail against the evils of the American Christian church, I am always thinking in the back of my head, "This obviously doesn't apply to Platy and others who practice their faith in a similar way " But, I probably don't say it enough during my rants. So, I'll try to keep that in mind, and piggy back off of this post for now.
