Shame I didn’t even know the game was on. Only got to watch from the end of Q3 till Sharpe was subbed out.

After a game like this, there’s no possibly way you DON’T reward Sharpe by starting him in the next game. Rest the starters another night, let Sharpe start against a team that didn’t draft him. I imaging he will be matched up on Murray at times, I want to see how they play against each other.

Then start the projected regular season rotation against the warriors.

He can go from the 3 pt line to the bucket on a drive in seemingly two long steps. Reminiscent of Clyde and Khawi Leonard.

Sharpe was nuts tonight, and I was steadfastly against drafting him. This is the first game I’ve gotten to watch so far, but he reminded me a lot of Ray Allen in a way. Like an interesting mix of Ray and BRoy. Sharpe is light years faster than Roy was.

Me too, but he’s much faster, seems to have better defensive instincts, and is more athletic, on the flip side he has worse handles. They both are smooth af, and have a sweet stroke though. They certainly have some similarities, but Roy always looked like he was playing in slow motion, Sharpe not so much.

Shaedon honestly only reminds me of two players MJ and Kobe. I'm not saying that he has the drive to get to where they got to but his offensive skills and talents mixed with his defensive tenacity is something I haven't seen in the league too many times.

Haven't seen enough Jalen Brown to comment. His smooth stroke, lack of emotion and kind of clinical destruction of the other team, body size, and mediocre handles really reminded me of Ray Allen more than anyone else.

I think you’re getting a little ahead of yourself hehe, but hope you’re right. I can kind of see the Kobe comparison, but obviously it’s more like saying the absolute best possible projection for Sharpe is a Kobe like player. That’s if god granted our wish, smiled upon us, and Sharpe works his ass off.

Sat next to Shaedon’s brother and mother, although I didn’t realize who they were. We talked throughout and afterwards the brother asked if my son and his friend would like a photo with Shaedon. Of course, I said. Then as the ushers were telling us we had to vacate, the brother said next time maybe, he won’t answer my texts. Then next thing I know Shaedon runs out of the tunnel and into the stands to take a photo with the boys. My son was geeking out about it. It was very cool.

I see Jaylen Brown as well. The long wingspan and defensive ability are very similar. Their lack of a polished handle is also something they have in common. Shae gotta work on that handle a lot next summer.
