    Who is Desi Lydic? Should I care?

    A group of journalists did some research on where Walker's campaign money is coming from. Home Depot denied a rumor they are funding his campaign. Technically true, they have not donated directly to him, but are major donors to PAC that funds his campaign. Aside from that, a who's who of the oil and gas industry. Chevron, Koch Industries, Petroleum Institute, all funding him because he says climate change is a hoax.

    Read an article https://www.yahoo.com/news/herschel-walker-embodies-every-negative-080015874.html that Heschel Walker embodies every negative stereotype about Black men. Dim mentally but athletically gifted, sexually promiscuous and irresponsible, absent father, inarticulate, incoherent.

    The article pointed to Tim Scott, and I could add Condoleezza Rice, as a Black conservative with whom others might strongly disagree but no one would call him dim witted. Same for Rice. I loathe her politics but she is sharp.

    Republicans seemingly can no longer attract smart people, since party is now fundamentally based on a lie, 2020 election stolen from Trump.
