    Good morning everyone!

    I'm just going to take a few moments to explain some things.

    For the record, since there seems to be some confusion over what was initially posted here is the original title of this thread:

    So 3 words were edited in the original title.

    No other edits or deletions were made.

    The post was flagged and the staff was asked to look at the title.

    @PtldPlatypus saw the request first and changed the title.

    I actually saw it around the same time and in the request, I told PP good job on the change.

    So, I signed off on it. The buck stops with me. If you are upset with the title change, please direct your anger at me, not PP or any other staff members.

    While not the worst of insults, yes, that was insulting.

    And it being a relatively minor insult all that was warranted was a small edit and moving on.

    Which is precisely what PP did.

    The lap dancing posts:

    Also in this thread, we had ABM make a comment about Crandc and lap dancing.

    While this is not a personal insult it was gross. I and a few others expressed that to ABM.

    Instead of reading the room and stopping, ABM decided to double down on the Crandc/lap dancing crap.

    That resulted in 2 PMs to me about his 2nd post and while I was being narrowly focused on personal insults, the person (not crandc or slypokercat) pointed out to be that those continued comments are or come very close to being sexual harassment. In looking at it that way I have to agree. I don't recall a trading of jokes or teasing interaction between ABM and Crandc. So ABM claiming he was or is just joking doesn't really hold true.

    I told ABM very clearly that he cannot continue to post things like that. But also I left the comments up because if ABM continues to make posts like that I needed receipts to explain why I took the actions that I will have to take.

    Sometimes people do forget what they posted, even in this thread the cat has repeatedly claimed that he called ABM a boomer conservative in his original thread title and as you can see that is not accurate. The words boomer and conservative were never in the title.

    @ABM I also think highly about you, I'm asking you as nicely as I can, please stop with the sexual innuendo with our female forum members.

    My post was meant as a well deserved compliment. In all honesty I could say something nice about everyone in here.
    As my grandmother born in 1882 used to say, you can attract more ants than with vinegar. Therefor point out someone's good qualities while trying to avoid their foibles unless their foibles are outrageous.
