As the early 90s Coliseum signs always said, 'the Suns may shine in Phoenix, but the Blazers reign in Portland'. I hated the early 90s Suns, and hate Chris Paul even more so starting off the home campaign by beating them would be great.

I'd love to see Portland win but I just think the Suns are a bad matchup; and they will almost certainly have Bridges guarding Dame

Why? Paul has historically owned Dame one-on-one; why should they go away from that? If I'm coaching, I let Paul control Dame as he always has, and put Bridges on the younger, more athletic guys like Simons and Sharpe.

that's what they did last season. They didn't have CP3 on Dame...he was on either CJ or Powell. I believe Monty has conceded that time has taken a defensive step away from CP

but sure, he might try CP on Dame.

We need to score more points than Phoenix tonight if we want any shot at winning this game.

It was somewhat funny when you said it about the Kings. Is this going to be a running theme for each game?

What's the scoop with Sarr? He's on the lineup per ESPN is he hurt or inactive or Gleague or what? Call him up and get him on the bench send a guard like Keon to Gleague if need be get a roster spot open!

He injured his wrist against Golden State. Could be back any time though.

Hope Simons is more efficient tonight on 22 shots.

Oh, I know. He had good %'s in his run last year and I expect him to do so now as a starting 2 guard and bu pg.
    His usage TS% was 48%

Guys like Simons and CJ and Dame probably take about 3 shots a game that hurt their efficacy numbers just because of the shot/game clock. I can live with that.

I also don't mind them taking more shots early on in a game just to get into a rhythm, because we always need them to be hot as the game goes on. I thought Ant played great in the 2nd half on Wednesday.
