They still have a great team, but their bench got a lot worse. It will definitely be their Achilles heal this year. They will obviously still make the playoffs but I'm thinking more 4th/5th seed. They really need to get something back for Crowder.

    Players don’t tank, organizations tank.

Agree but there were a few people who suggested teams would tank from the beginning of this season this year because of the prize. As you alluded to players don't think about the lottery and early in the season, every team thinks they have a chance to make the playoffs.

I didn’t see their first game Vs Brooklyn, but know it’s true for their second.

it’s not even about getting the top pick.

who wants to be in the middle of the pack with no shot at the championship, but no worthwhile pick either. It’s the worst place to be as an NBA organization

It works well in European sports where there are multiple divisions (and no draft) but It wouldn't work at all the way the NBA is set up

This is what is happening with the Blazers also at this point. Look at the end of the Suns game. Lillard had three dudes on him with 10 seconds on the clock. Simons was sitting there almost alone. Suns were like "Lillard is taking this shot"! Well guess what?
With 7.2 seconds left on the clock Lillard was bumping chests with Ant! Here is another look at it. Hart was wide open as well.

I can just see it now… Players making 10m a year playing their first ever G-League game with record breaking G-League attendance of 3,000 people.

Teams who get relegated finish top 3 in the G-Leauge.

Promoted G-League teams being Damn near free wins for NBA teams who wish they didn’t have to play them because they want to lose and get the top draft pick.

Who gets the draft pick? The best G-League team? Or the Worst NBA Team?

I’m sure college players can’t wait to get drafted by a G-League team and get whooped all year, or drafted by an NBA team and spend their first year in the G-League.

    Everything about it is bologna.

Edit: France League 1/2, EPL/Championship league, Eredivisie/ersteDivisie, Europa League/Europa Conference league. All of them do work out alright in soccer. Still can’t compare the sports/leagues.

    ESPN is dumb.

I just watched the highlight package from last nights Sixers/Spurs game on my ESPN app.

it was a 4 minute video and didn’t show a single Spurs highlight even though they won the game.

The problem with what you're saying is, if any of these teams decide after seeing film that they can cover Dame with anyone one on one, then they're still fucked. The fact is we haven't had this well rounded of a starting lineup the entire time Dame's been here. We also have absolute dawgs on the bench and one more who has yet to play. I think our lack of size on the bench might be able to be exploited but other than that we're a pretty good team.

Got a little chippy in the heat raptors game. Looks like several heat players came off the bench. Going to be interesting to see what comes of it all.

The Jazz might not be as terrible as predicted.

Is Lauri Markkanen an all star this year?

They want to be. They just haven't gotten the right price for Conley, Clarkson and Olynik yet. I think they'll still be fun with all of the young talent they have but they'll start dropping games after they unload those guys.

With Markkanen, it’s always been a question of health. Also, I don’t think the Jazz’s record will be good enough in the West to merit an All-Star nod.
