Grilled beef ribs, Bush maple flavor baked beans, homemade potato salad and iced tea with a wedge of lemon. What's better.

Homemade vanilla ice cream with peaches on top would be outstanding.

Got a dutch oven, lets see how this goes. Not sure what to try to cook in it first, maybe do some chicken adobo

The trick is to get your wife to look under the covers, while your cooking one up, then tickle her as you wrap the covers over her head so she has to breath it all in.

If you like rustic bread they are great for that. They create a microenvironment that hold steam in and gives a near professional crust. Next best thing to a high end bread oven.

It's the cream cheese thing, I guess. Either way, knock yourself out.....whatever you choose. I'm sure it'll be fantastic.

So I have completely given in to being obsessed with pizza. Today is a new style for me, Sicilian Style pie. It's a sheet pizza, similar to what you get on the street in Italy, where they cut it, weight it and reheat it. It looks like lunch lady pizza from middle school. Using ATK bread illustrated recipe for the dough, it has a lot of semolina flour in it, which should give it a nice crust.

Since you got me thinking Paella it reminded me of one of my favorite meals in Barcelona. It was simple but brilliant. Fill a bowl half way with steak fries, cover with chorizo and top with an over easy egg. It is the breakfast of champions!

I don't like pound cake unless it has sugar macerated strawberries and plenty of sweet, vanilla flavored whipped cream on top. I like Oregon strawberries and real whipped cream. My wife always insist I eat that crappy whipped cream out of a can.
NY cheesecake with macerated cherries on top is out of sight.
It's not easy for me to cook stuff but I wanted to send you some chocolate fudge. I eat my fudge with anywhere between five and ten times as much nuts as the recipe calls for.
Up until I got out of college I never got to eat really delicious food so now I can afford it and consequently go all out. I no longer have to eat venison, beef liver, breakfast cereal, chicken noodle soup out of a can, artificial vanilla flavoring, overcooked salmon and a host of other crap my mother made me eat. One time we even had homemade chili made with horse meat.

Here are the results of my Sicilian pizza experiment. Turned out really good and it was super easy, I will definitely be making it again. The crust was really good also, the semolina flour gave it a soft texture and nice flavor.
