    This is nothing.

    Some of the channels I watch literally play the exact same 2-3 commercials every break. I’ve probably seen a particular Chevy commercial (with a Fleetwood Mac song) 300 times in the past ten days.

    Note to Duck defense: the game isn't over.

    The Ducks hire a coach who is supposed to be a defensive guru - and wind up with a team being carried by the offense. Who predicted that?

    I wonder how much that affects the Ducks in the polls? Like it or not, the system does reward style points.

    probably quite a bit in terms of credit; maybe not much in the polls although they could be 7th ahead of TCU. There are occasional garbage times TD's but it's been extreme in Oregon's case

    if it had been....

    Oregon over BYU 41-7 instead of 41-20
    Oregon over Stanford 45-10 instead of 45-27
    Oregon over UCLA 45-16 instead of 45-30
    Oregon over Cal 42-10 instead of 42-24

    a lot different perception. Those would be 4 pretty impressive scores. One counter could be that Ducks got their own 'garbage TD today, but with 8 minutes left in the game and only up 35-17 Oregon was probably justified in leaving their starters in and getting an insurance TD. After all, the Ducks scored 22 points in 4 minutes against WSU so an 18 point lead is not insurmountable

    18 points is still a blowout. They beat uCLA by 2 touchdowns as well

    No difference at all. Ducks are the 2nd highest-ranked 1 loss team. The other one loss team ranked ahead of us is Bama and that seems about right.
