It's October madness in the nba. Okc just tied their game against Dallas.

A one-point win for Utah as they survive Memphis's last possession.
    In OKC, it's overtime.

Let's hope Memphis continues to struggle when they play the Blazers.

Be honest - with all the highly touted players out of Gonzaga, who had Olynyk as being on the short list for best NBA career?

Take away John Stockton, and they've been a group of disappointments.

What does that have to do with the word “overrated”?

But whatever, it was just a question.

The short answer: how can you be considered a "great" basketball player if you are physically incapable of playing basketball?

If you’re including Ralph Sampson, Grant Hill, Derrick Rose, BRoy, etc in that overrated category as well, I understand. Can’t say I agree with it, but at least I’ll know where you’re coming from.

Wasn’t disagreeing Davis wasn’t overrated. It’s just most people would say he’s overrated because he’s soft or doesn’t have the mentality to be great, not his injuries.

I agree that Davis had multiple red flags (or at least yellow ones). The comparison to Roy is interesting. As I understand it, the questions about his knees started when he was still in his teens. Nonetheless, he played 4 years of college and had a very nice run in the NBA before it actually became an issue. If anything, his career exceeded expectations. You could say he was the opposite of Oden. :smiley-beerchug:

The Lakers need to attach the 2 unprotected 1st + Westbrook for whoever fits inside WB’s salary. Sexton + Vanderbilt + Clarkson or something like that. Lakers are F’d anyway, but Vanderbilt is still a cheap two year deal, and Sexton is still a gifted scorer on a decent contract and young enough that Lebron could probably extract whatever potential he has as a playmaker. Sexton + Clarkson is worth more than Hield imo. All 3 of these guys would help this team.

Good Lord Lakers, this is ridiculous :smiley-bash:

I think the Nets and the Lakers should be allowed to combine rosters, because it's kind of miserable watching Durant and LeBron toil for nothing in the twilight of their careers... but with one catch: the combined super-team has to play in some shitty arena in the most podunk place in the US. Suggestions? One of the Dakotas? Alaska?
