Guys at Boeing who worked on nuclear missiles use to spell them "missels". That made me nervous about the resulting product of their work.
How musk is ru(I)ning Twitter makes me wonder if he really knows how to run a successful business, or just comes in my with an inflated sense of his abilities. Or knows the definition of things but not what things mean.
No shit has hit the fan yet. People are waiting for the phreaking monthly fee. Monday may be the day.
So Twitter is a MW2 lobby in 2009 again. I'm not sure if this has been brought up here, but forums took a massive hit after social media herded everyone into a handful of options, or subreddits that are based on one platform, obviously. If Twitter is too much for people these days, maybe forums with a more individual TOS can fill the gap. Most of the political alternatives have flopped, Gab is for Hitler nerds, TruthSocial is for MAGA boomers, Parler already died once. I know a lefty version of Twitter exists too that came up recently (Mastodon? idk) and it sucks ass too. Hoping for a forum comeback.
