Not from me. I just don't think Ayton is all that. He doesn't have a consistent motor. Gobert is a different dude. I really like Nurk. He's getting better, and he's showing more maturity. Biggest frustration is he still is inconsistent at the hoop scoring.

A career 42% shooter, 35% from 3. Lou was scorer, not a shooter.

I think Sharpe will be able to help in that regard as he gets more comfortable.

I have a different "biggest need" for the team. That being a two-way player (or two) with all-star talent. A player who is well above average on both ends of the floor. Somebody who isn't a situational player; somebody who is on the floor with the 'we-need-a-bucket' unit and also on the floor with a we-need-a-stop unit.

Unless you have unrealistic expectations we have that player now. I think you are describing Ant. I say you re-sign Hart and Grant and by next year you start Dame, Hart, Sharpe, Grant, and Nurk.

You then have GP2 and Ant coming off the bench in the backcourt. (along with a mix of Nas, Winslow, Watford, and Walker)

YTBD is Keon, Eubanks, Sarr, Brown, and Butler. Can Keon replace GP2? The backup center is still our biggest need even though Drew has been doing a good job. But they do need to prepare for a Nurk injury.

    Good point.
I know he’s old and is only good for 10-12 mins a game but Kevin Love would work off the bench at times.

I still think we need to get Nurk insurance and find another big as our biggest priority. Dame and Ant are elite shooters with high volume, and if you stagger them enough, shooting won't be too much of an issue.

But a guy to keep an eye on is Georges Niang. Decent backup PF with good size. OK defender, but shoots 44% from 3 on 4 attempts a game. Most importantly, he makes only 3.5 mil this year and we can theoretically absorb him into the Roco TPE. This would require Jody to pay the tax.

I watched the Cav/Laker game yesterday and thought the same. He fits with the young Cavs as well. At least he did yesterday.
10 boards in 20 minutes, and stabilized the bench. (team high +22) He will be 35 next year so he will come cheap.

Shaedon is shooting 45% on three with 20 total attempts in 9 games.

We need to increase his shot volume to see if this is real. I don't know why Chauncey has yet to run plays for him on a regular basis-- maybe Sharpe still doesn't know where to be yet, but he seems to pick up things quickly.

think someone will throw him the full MLE this summer, but he could be a target for us. still, this doesn't help us this season.

Well if Hart is a below average starter, I certainly hope we’re not gonna be bringing him back on $20m/yr. Everyone here has just been saying we need to bring him back and you’re here saying he’s a below average starter. So idk who to believe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
