I have Madden 2006 for 360 & regular Xbox. In 360 I've noticed that it's either a awesome return or you get to the 15. (On kickoffs) On punts, in Xbox, I'd barely ever get a return off. On 360 I've been able to get about 10 yards on average. I'm starting to get better kickoff returns. Although, it probably helps that I was able to draft an awesome CB/KR. I've returned two for TD's with him. Anyone noticed how much stuff they took away for the 360 version of Madden 06? In Franchise mode..the Owner Box, the Newspaper/Email stuff, even challenges (both franchise and other game modes)! But yeah, blocking definately has to improve.
You can do the same for the run and change his direction/if he wants to go right up the middle, slant left or right. I'm a pr0 at the running game now and disguising my defense.
How about this.DEFENSIVE PASS INTERFERENCEYou can manually run into the guy and practically run him right off his route and they wont do anything about it.
I don't know if you guys know this but go to settings > AI make Human all the way, and the other thing all the way because the blocking are better. You won't get sack as much like you do as usually. Dunno if anybody tried but thats something you should consider when you're playing madden.
Yeah you can up the blocking skill on all ends of the ball. That's nothing new. I just ran a punt return back on franchise.
