Jesus. Can I ask who your health insurance company is? Also, can your doctors/their office call the insurance company and explain it or something? This seems totally outrageous.

We are the world's power for no reason other than we have the most geographically hospitable, navigable, and defensible large country in the world. We are actively trying to fuck everything up, but we have so many built in advantages that we can't fail. If we'd jerk our heads out we could do so much good. Sorry for the rant. Nobody in this country should ever be in your position. I'm so incredibly sorry you're going through this. I'm personally ashamed that we haven't built a better healthcare system for you by now. Get a lawyer and be a dick, the only way to do anything with these fucking insurance companies. Never trust them to do the right thing. You are just a line on a spreadsheet.
Lillard's prayers are with me. Looks like instead of the three or four I was expecting at my funeral there just might be a decent sized crowd. Anyone from S2 who wants to attend and help support my totally devastated wife is free to do so. The funeral ceremonies will be at Christ Episcopal church in Lake Oswego and at Riverview cemetery at the West end of the Sellwood bridge. Hopefully this will take place well after the one year the doctors are predicting. Don't be too down 'cause I'm not and I believe I will be in a better place once I've payed for my multitude of sins. Hope you get better. I’d do a lot of research to find the best surgeon I could if in a situation like that. Genetically there’s really no heart issues in my family which I’m thankful for. We have bowel issues instead. When I was growing up my best friends dad keeled over on his bike and died of a massive heart attack at only 42 years old. He was one of the most in shape people I had ever been around. Did long distance cycling, worked out a ton. Sometimes the gene pool can just be a bitch.
They're all problematic. We had nightmare problems with Aetna and then Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I remember the Tektronix health plan as being a dream come true.
