I picked Blazers to get #1 seed and I stand by that. 55-60 wins makes sense. If Dame didn’t get hurt, we’d be 9-1 now. We’re the best road team in the NBA! I was really off on 2 thru 15 though.
I think I said 39/40 wins.... I think I'll stick with it. Been a fun start to the season for sure, playing way better than I thought....but it's a LONG season FAMS.
I thought they were a play-in team closer to the 9-10 range, but after stealing 4 wins early, I think 7-8 is now more likely. We're still only 2 losses ahead of the 8 seed with 72 games to go. Lots of basketball to be played. Doesn't mean I'm not enjoying this 10 game stretch!
You really think there are 6 or 7 teams better than us in the West? That’s crazy. I know it’s early but we are clearly better than most of the West. Curious, do you think the Warriors will pass us eventually? I assume you had them ahead of us. What about the Clippers? Without Kawhi, are they better than us? Wolves don’t work. Pelicans are a mess. Jazz will fall off. I think top 4, in no particular order, are Portland, Phoenix, Dallas, and Denver with Memphis knocking on the door. We’ll learn more in the coming weeks. It’s shaping up to be a fun season league wide. In East, I think Hawks are the favs but Bucks and Celtics are right behind them. Cavs and Mitchell still have a lot to prove.
I’ve got the East different. Bucks and Boston are clearly the top two teams with Cleveland just back and Atlanta further back.

No, you do not have to back up your crazy prediction with a bet. But given that you called mine crazy, I thought you would gladly take a risk free bet, if you believed it. If you were right about all your predictions, we'd have a few undefeated seasons, 10+ championships, and be considered the best sports franchise in the world. I mean this 100%: I wish you right, just once.
I’ve never predicted an undefeated season or even a championship. This is the first time I’ve bet on it. But a bet and a prediction are two different things. I’m not on record saying we’ll win it all but I placed the bet because if we DO win, it’ll be even more fun. I didn’t even predict title in early 90s. I did think we’d win the Pistons series after splitting the first 2 games in Detroit. That’s the closest we’ve ever been in my opinion. I’m not convinced we beat Pacers in 2000. We had no chance against Bulls in 92. MAYBE in 91.

Wait... so you think this team will win a championship, but you're not convinced the 2000 team was better than the Pacers? That series wouldn't have made it 6 games.
Yeah, my opinion of how this team will do has changed. I thought we'd win 46 games and be a play in team. Now I think we win 50 but I don't think that will be enough for HCA. So I think we'll be a 5th or 6th seed.
57 wins will be a 1 or 2 seed in my opinion. Highly unlikely we keep winning every one-possession game throughout the season though.
