Philip Bailey… isn’t that the guy who played for the Jazz with the goggles in the 80’s?

No, that was THURL LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE BAILEY!

I will always remember the Jazz PA guy saying his name. That and the guy who does the Lakers PA saying "Worthy" and "shaqueeeeeile o'neal"

    I hate my brain sometimes.

That was the first guy that came to mind when I saw "Bailey". 'Cause I had his basketball card.

Me too. For some reason, I always think of him, Mel Turpin, and the guy who played for the Mavs and got suspended from the league, Roy Tarpley.

Just at random times too. Oh and Chris Washburn, he who is totally never talked about as a massive bust in the NBA draft.

Oh man, Kelly Tripucka! Hated him as a Jazz, loved him on the Hornets.

Herb Williams, James Donaldson and Lionel Simmons.

Shit man, there needs to be a 'where are they now' in the NBA.

Simmons, yes! That's definitely another one for me.

I will play this "random NBA player that I remember for absolutely no reason" game all day. Next up for me...Tree Rollins, Rony Seikaly, and the hideous jump-shot of Michael Adams.

HA forgot about Michael Adams. I was so pissed when he made the all star team.

Speaking of Nugget players, what about Todd Licthi?

    Or Marcus Liberty?

Or Dave Corzine? Or Never Nervous Pervis Ellison?

All right, all right--you win, that's some impressive randomness right there. Loved me some Pervis Ellison though.

Now I'm just happily perusing this list of players from 89-90, recalling names. Mike Gminski, Tom Tolbert, Larry Brett Krystowiak--I'm 11 again and loving it.

    This is awesome!

    G-man!

    Jeff Ruland too.

Funny note, whenever I think of Gminski, I think of three things. That luscious beard he had, Maurice Cheeks and former Blazers coach Marc Iavaroni (even tho Marc was never a teammate of Mike's).

Also, G-Man totally could've been a model, the guy was chiseled and had a square face. And not in a weird Herman Munster sorta way either.

Assuming Dame plays all the games after tonight, this should give you an idea of when he might break the record:

I posted where Dame is at on the NBA all-time scoring list earlier today - Here

Here's a look at where Lillard stands for Career Points as a Blazer -
