And his viewpoint seems to be, from his online posts, one of transphobia.

I don't think he knows that or he wouldn't have asked.

We should have ratings for sporting events. Like movies.
NFL football? Way back when, cheerleaders wore basic skirt & sweater. Skirt was short but they were covered. Now teams vie with each other to see which ladies wear the least amount of clothing.
Women's gymnastics? Barely pubescent young women in tight leotards.
Beach volleyball? Bikini mandatory. A woman was disqualified for wanting to wear a one piece swim suit.
Men's Olympic swimming and diving? Oi vey, those skimpy skimpy Spandex swimsuits. Some SERIOUS beefcake. Nothing left to the imagination.

Every year I go see Nutcracker. Lots of children in audience. They see women in tutus, all their leg exposed. And Arabian dance features a woman in harem pants and sparkly bra.

Simple fact. Seeing bodies does not harm people. Neither does seeing people in drag costumes.

    Bigotry and ignorance harm people.

It was rhetorical, silly. But, hey, you and the others roll with your synopses, and I'll keep being me. Thanks.

Great treatise. Thanks, as always, for the insights. Just as people tell me, though, you be you. Thanks

My problem is not that ABM wants to be him. If he doesn't want to have gay friends or go to drag performance that's his business.

My problem is that he wants to prevent me from being me. And supports politicians who want to make being me a crime.

The way you asked that question is not what rhetorical means.

Well, FWIW, it was pretty much in response to crandc's assertations that I'm, both, a homophobe and transphobe. Hence, if someone were gay and called out a trans (as per the posted article), where does that place them? In fact, right, wrong, or otherwise, I'm hearing more and more about gays not really appreciating transgenders being part of the LGBTQIA lettering system. That's quizzical to me.

It places them as a guy man who comes across as transphobic. Pretty simple really. Difficult for you to grasp, apparently.

You've supported my point, actually. There are all types out there.......not that there's anything wrong with that

My initial point was clear. Everything else was extraneous. Not too difficult to understand.

But, there is something wrong with that according to you and the politicians you support.

    1) I don't support gay marriage.

    2) I want to do all I can to ensure our kids are protected from being sexualized at an early age.
