Curious to see how we defend Luka. If we can slow him down the rest of their team is mediocre.

Playoff match-up if the post-season were to start.....in November.

I would expect to see more zone defense and clogging up the key to defend Luka. His game is all mid-range so this might play into our hands. Dallas is 19th in 3P% so the zone will be perfect against them. I expect a W and finish the road trip 5-1!

We’ll put Hart on Luka.
If this was the Stotts era that would probably be the end of the defensive strategy.

But Billups seems to mix in zone, using traps, going back to man. Then we've gone small with no center or big with no PG. So it'll be interesting to see what looks are mixed in.

Have we faced MVP candidate yet? LBJ team is garbage, I guess you'd have to say Jokic who we played extremely well against. Phx and Mia were both 1 seeds but probably more of a balanced attack than Luka.

Go Blazers!

Pretty sure it's safe to call the guy who won the last two MVP awards an MVP candidate.

Dinwiddie and Hardaway were a combined 12-23 last night from 3.
I am sure CB noticed that stat.

Cautiously optimistic about this game.

This game, our offense has to be our defense. Whoever matches up on Doncic needs to make him work on defense. Who is Doncic going to be guarding?

It’s not going to be Dame, we’re going to screen him to death. If he matches up on Ant, get him open with off-ball screens. If he matches up on Hart, there should be a heavy emphasis on second chance points.

Whoever's injured? You don't immediately give him 36 minutes. We have a lot of guys that can play, why are you acting like it's a problem?
Not really acting like it's a problem. Just asking. When things are going good and the team is clicking, you don't mess with that chemistry. You just don't. So it's easy to say, I can't wait til we can add so in so to the mix. It doesn't work like that.

These injuries are messing with our chemistry. We need Nurk and Sharpe back.

Depends on what type of player we're adding.
How would it be difficult to add a player who is mainly defensive and can defend multiple positions well?

This is a good point. Most of us thought that they would start off slow because of all the new additions and the lack of chemistry.
They have won despite the injuries but I do think the number of turnovers (along with the pace) is the result of the lack of a consistent rotation. Hopefully, we can get healthier and settle into one.

Coach will figure it out. I would understand your point if we were trading for someone and throwing them in immediately. That would mess with chemistry. GP has been with the team though. You went to the movies with them last night, was he not part of that?

I think a lot of the turnovers were a result of trying to play at a faster pace leading to some horrible passes by our guards.
If you are passing across court and Jimmy Butler is waiting to pick it off that's just a horrible decision no matter your chemistry.
It's a lack of awareness of who you're playing against.

Playing Luka coming off 2 losses doesn’t seem good. I feel like Nurk woulda had a monster rebound game tonight so it sucks he’s still out.

They were also very predictable with their passes. Like oh they’re running this one again, this where they pass to Grant next etc…

The scouts have these guys watching game film looking for things like that.
