whilr I may not have liked Kobe he had a killer instinct that was 2nd only to MJ. I hope Sharpe has that same passion and killer instinct or he’ll just be Drexler and not Kobe or MJ
I liked "Sharpe Attack", but since it's clear that "Hart Attack" is more apropos, I'm sticking with "Sharpe Shooter". Along with "Dame Time", "Fire Ant", "Bosnian Beast", "Shaq of Troutdale", "Swiss Army Knife" Winslow, and "Little Nas X-Factor". I got nothing for Jerami Grant.
Blazers’ Shaedon Sharpe Places No. 4 in CBS Sports Weekly Rookie Ranking https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mo...pc=U591&cvid=01484101917d4e5da214b2b5794fb94c
That photo just speaks volumes. Not just the insane leaping ability, but just look at the muscle definition on this kid. If we'd drafted both Ant and Sharpe this year, Ant at 23yo and Sharpe at 19yo, both with the same skills they have demonstrated this year, is Ant a lock for the starting job at shooting guard? It reminds me a little of the early Thunder. Harden came off the bench because Westbrook was already there and established. But if they could go back now and re-do everything, they'd obviously have started Harden. Maybe not as a rookie but certainly within a year. I don't mean this as a dis on Ant at all, by the way. I really respect the 22ppg he's putting up, and fully expect his 3P% to climb back up to the 40%+ he's had the past two seasons. I'm just not sure he's the second best guard on our team.
That was Gary Grant. Can't reuse it for Jerami. Plus, we all know that Dame is the General of this detachment.
Like what you say about Sharpe ability and I agree. Does that photo look like a typical play a guard makes or a forward? I'm not sure Sharpe's best position is at guard. Yes he has physical similarities to some of the games great SG's in Jordan, Kobe, Carter, Clyde, etc. However if most of those guys came into the league today I suspect they would play more at SF than SG.
grant is "gq" shaedon is just shaedon sharpe, shae, shaedon, or sharpe. Though "the razor" aint bad as was mentioned. I dont think he want a name for some reason.
Agree completely. It seems like we have had much more of a problem finding a 2-way quality SF over the years than an SG. Even Batum was frustrating at times with his lack of shooting. (remember that span where he refused to take an open 3 because of his slump?) I know they are supposedly similar positions, but nonetheless, SS with his 7' wing (and another 10 lbs) is our future at that position. Again, much easier to find SGs. (Although not always that easy either)

Messing with you. They guy was not really a huge part of the team? He did stick around for like 3 years though.
