I'm not ready to go into the tall grass of conspiracy yet.

I have noticed, a couple of times, that Simons didn't look Sharpe's way. And yes, Dame makes an effort to find Sharpe...but he makes efforts to find everybody really. But Dame is a PG; a scoring PG to be sure, but he still possesses PG vision. And that may be Ant's issue; that being that it isn't so much he doesn't want to pass to Sharpe, but that he doesn't 'see' him in the first place. Simon definitely spends lots of time looking at the hoop when he has the ball. Meanwhile, Sharpe spends a lot of time floating on the perimeter. Those two styles could be a bad match during the early part of the season

So you think it has happened at least 20+ times....and Chauncey has let it continue?

Are you saying Ant is actively look for teammates at a PG worthy level? I’d say his lack of passing was extremely problematic in a number of games, further I have noticed he has missed one of our best three point shooters open on the perimeter about 2x a game.

Clearly Chauncey has let Ant be a ball hog. This seems borderline indisputable. I like to hold people accountable for their actions rather than passing the buck. All our losses are on Chauncey? I think not. Players have their responsibilities and we don’t know what conversations Chauncey has had.

Conspiracy? I see you use the CIA’s super handy definition of the word which is “something you don’t want to be true and therefore will ignore”, rather than the actual meaning of multiple people planning something in secret with malice of forethought.

Aside from that egregious misuse of the word “conspiracy” I think its possible its just that Ant isn’t passing anyone the ball. Honestly, from a team perspective that might be worse than him ignoring Sharpe open in the corner when triple teamed.

No, I don't think he is. I didn't say he is a good PG. I was very specific saying he is a combo guard. My point was that he is not intentionally freezing Sharpe out.

I totally disagree and no I don't see any of this.

Sharpe is 4th on the team in shots per 36 minutes behind only Dame, Ant, and Grant. He is shooting more per minute than Nurk, Little, Winslow, and over twice as many shots per minute as Hart.

I think Ant just doesn't see some possible passing opportunities you notice, or he doesn't view it as an offensive advantage for Sharpe. As those two play more together this will improve, and if Sharpe continues the production he has to date teammates will get him the ball more as well.

82 games is a long time to get this feel for where each other wants and can best use the basketball. Very expected a 19 year old rookie who was injured in the summer didn't develop chemistry with some returning players. Hopefully there are many more sets of 82 games that these two continue to build such chemistry in the years ahead.

    Ant hates Shaedon.
    He's extremely jealous.
    Everyone knows that.

Seriously though, there is nothing to this.
    Nobody is "shading" Shaedon.

Chauncey did say in a postgame recently that he has told Anfernee to take more shots.
He even told him to take "bad shots" if he had to one game just to get something generated.
I cannot remember specifics, but I do remember that quote.

I don’t think their best players (if they have any) played much last night looking at that final score.

actually, what I was doing was using a word conversationally that conveyed my meaning pretty well, I'm thinking. I wasn't anticipating somebody going all Matlock-with-a-dictionary on a certain word, then immediately warping the definition with personal bias

"Progressing" makes it sound like he's still got awhile before he comes back. Another week? More?
