Ugly 2nd half but they found a way to win the game. I give the spurs credit how they play especially there coming in to from back to back plus there one of the youngest team in the NBA. But as I said every is a great win.

Seriously though, does Nurk have any trade value? Will he accept riding the bench at end of halves?

Sean “my heel was not out of bounds” Elliot is the color commentator. Not sure who the play-by-play guy is.

Don’t know why they didn’t do it more. Maybe Chauncey doesn’t trust the zone without Justise in it.

They are super homerish. Probably more lighthearted this season since the Spurs are not meant to be good.

    Wait until he starts sulking.
I hope he gets going and has a few good games. Nurk is a player they need.

Teams that grind out close games, or games that they shouldn’t win is what separates good teams from bad teams in all sports.

What a sloppy win. Glad we found a way to grind it out somehow. I don't know the last time I've seen two teams combine for so many turnovers on just routine passes. It was embarrassing.

Nurk and Nas, in particular, seemed mentally to be somewhere else. I hate watching Nurk play when he's going through the motions. It really messes us up. I'd almost rather he went to the coaches and say he's not feeling it so just make him inactive. He made Jacob Poetl looks like Bob Lanier.

Also thought the coaches got a little too prideful about the switches on Poetl's elbow screens. In the first half, OK. But we never addressed it at half time or, if we did, we didn't execute the adjustment.

Anyway, always good to win a game that you can learn from.

I’m not one for +|- but Nurk -21 Eubanks +28 and we win by +7.

i was saying this from earlier in the game, but it looked deliberate. we might have been working out kinks in the man to man in practice yesterday and wanted to try it out in the game.

lucky to mess around like that and get a win, but also the sorta thing good teams do.

Sometimes that doesn't tell a very accurate story. Tonight.....it did.
