My history teacher made me take my Joey Harrington jersey off in his class last year, cuz it wasn't an Eagles jersey... teachers like that piss me off so much, they are insecure about themselves and feel that they need to appeal to the masses of their students to make them think they are cool.

Dang,if that was me I woulda asked for an explanation right there on the spot lol.If he said it was against dress code and I seen other kids wearing them all the time and not getting in trouble I would walk away from him while he was talking to me,find an administrator and tell them the teacher is disrupting my learning process [IMG] Then again,im not afraid of any of my teaches (well um except for my Pre-Cal teacher lol) Heck, its my junior year and Ive already got one teacher suspended that eventually led to a firing [IMG] Bring on #2 lol.

Here's some info on his return to school:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Student wearing Broncos jersey to return to schoolAssociated PressBEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- A high school student whose teacher forced him to sit on the floor during a midterm exam -- for wearing a Denver Broncos jersey -- will return to classes next week, his lawyer said Friday.Joshua Vannoy, 17, agreed during talks Friday with lawyers, school officials and his parents to return to Beaver Falls High School on Monday, said his attorney, Nick Frisk III."He's going back to school," Frisk said. "We're going to see how things work out. ... Hopefully, that's all we have to do."Vannoy stopped going to school after wearing the No. 7 jersey of retired Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway to class on Jan. 20 -- two days before the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Broncos 34-17 in the AFC Championship game -- when his honors ethnic relations teacher, John Kelly, forced him to take the test sitting on the floor.Kelly has called the incident "silly fun.""If he felt uncomfortable, then that's a lesson; that's what [the class]is designed to do," Kelly told The Denver Post.Friday's meeting was arranged partly to determine steps the school would take to ensure Vannoy's safe return to school. The teen, an honors student with a 3.8 grade-point average, has been threatened, his attorney said.</div>ARTICLE

These things make me sick. The teacher should be fired. My PE teacher is a big Sux fan, and I wore an Indians cap to school one day in September during the Sux's collapse. He made me take off the cap for his class, and later in the day saw me, tried to pull it off my head. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

This is disgusting. As a future teacher this is wrong on so many levels. I don't care what team the student supports or what the kid did - nothing deserves that punishment. The teacher should be fired.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Teacher not disciplined for singling out Broncos fanESPN.com news servicesThe Pennsylvania high school teacher who singled out a student for wearing a Denver Broncos jersey will not be disciplined by the district, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.Beaver Falls High School ethnic relations teach John Kelly "has already been the brunt of adverse public opinion and the school district does not believe discipline is warranted or would serve any purpose," said a news release issued by the school district.Joshua Vannoy, 17, stopped going to school after wearing the No. 7 jersey of retired Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway to class on Jan. 20 and Kelly forced him to take a test sitting on the floor and classmates then threw paper wads at him.Two days later the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Broncos 34-17 in the AFC Championship game.School officials looked into the allegations, but said the class is an elective for honor students, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported."As part of the course, students are often singled out to exemplify uncomfortable treatment and students who enroll in the course are aware of this fact," the district said in a statement."Face to face discussions and interaction among students and with the instructor sitting in a circle is a normal classroom setting for this course."Vannoy returned to school this week and has the option to drop the class, the Post-Gazette reported. The district said Kelly had already asked students to show respect for their classmate and had apologized to Vannoy. The Associated Press contributed to this report.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs05/n...tory?id=2314858
