I remember reading somewhere that Sabas actually preferred playing and living over in Europe. But, before he was too old, wanted an NBA payday.

His wife just wanted that solid vodka that Europe has to offer.

Guys, this unfortunately has been the rumored offer that KP has had on the table for a while now. Heild and Turner for Westbrook and the two first rounders the Lakers have available to trade. It would fucking suck because it would make the Lakers a helluva lot better but I don't even know if this trade would put out that dumpster fire. SF and PF are hardly the ideal spots for LeBron and AD at this point... I don't think that AD is all that much more spry than Sabonis was when he was playing with Turner and that didn't work too well. That being said it's worth repeating that this trade would make the Lakers a lot better and it's conceivable that it could put them on the same sort of level that we've been playing on so far this season.

That’s all fine and dandy, but you’re saying that 5:1 A/TO ratio is going to for sure help us win a chip this season? Again, he’s shooting worse than Ant.

Conley can come to Portland in the offseason as a free agent if he wants to be a backup PG here. Trading our starting SG for a backup PG and a 1st is still not a great move imo.

It would eliminate the chance of us acquiring Turner

With the injury histories of Turner and AD - you would think that one of the two would always be injured.

I'm not sure this trade would really help Lakers at all this year. Probably improves them to a 6/7 seed.
The added benefit is that the Pels have the right to swap picks this year. So better the Lakers are (not lotto team)the less value that pick swap is to NO.

No way Lakers make 6th even with the trade. West is too competitive for them to get there.

As much as I hate the Lakers, I want them to squeeze into the playoffs barely and lose to us in the first round. We get to stomp some purple and urine, and New Orleans doesn't get gifted a generation talent. Win/win/win

We’ll it’s reported that the Bucks are shopping Grayson Allen for a front court defensive minded player?

It's easy to see why there were reports that the Blazers are interested in OG Anunoby. He is a player that fits what we see from the Blazers scheme for sure.

I think Grant is better for the Blazers than OG would be. And I'm pretty sure the trade price for Grant was quite a bit less

Lu Dort could not stop Bradley Beal getting a good shot off by himself. I don't know why you wouldn't run a double team at Bealwhen the clock is running down at the end of the game.

Then the wizards, ahead by 2, do not double team SGA and he drills a three pointer with 1.1 seconds left in the game.
OKC wins. (After face guarding Beal and the inbounds pass bounced off Dorts hand and ran out the clock).
OKC won after coming back from being down by 17.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was already really good last season when he averaged 25-5-6. This season he's averaging 32-4-6.....yeeeeesh

Boston is really good, putting on a clinic of how to take a team to town out behind the woodshed against the hawks.
