I believe he's talking about Lamelo Ball who's name should never and I mean ABSOLUTELY NEVER be abreviated as "Melo"

Interesting that New Orleans beat up on Chicago even though no Zion. And Houston beat Dallas, but Dallas without Doncic.

So there are two people called Melo now? Melo is in the top 10 all time scoring in the history of the game. Do we now show that no respect whatsoever?

I always talk about what an all time great all star player Jordan was. Of course a first name is not needed; everyone knows I'm talking about the lumpering stiff former Clipper.

I can't believe I am in trouble because I failed to kneel at the throne of Carmelo Anthony. As members of an nba forum you should have known it was Ball's first game back after an ankle injury and that's who I was referring to. Shall I delete the post?

I'm guessing that all 3 would be easy to re-sign for market rates. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they even provide a 'home team' discount.

you said Melo. Around here, and probably in every NBA forum, that means one player, and that's not Lamelo Ball. I thought you were talking about Melo, the one that played for Portland

you don't have to bow down to carmelo, but you might want to adjust your confusing shorthand

Especially when the one and only Melo fits the context of the "first game back" post, with people wondering if he would be picked up by anyone this year.

No. I’m good. I made my point but honestly I had no idea Ball#2 was hurt?
