I am not sure how much I can take Gallant. I thought I would give him at least two years.

 

Another perfect example of a team that didn’t develop its young forwards properly and just relies on the PowerPlay with veterans.

 

They just don't get it. At this point I'm never expecting them to. They are just fucking stupid. We have a bunch of vets who are inept at even strength.

Lafrenuere 0 shots on goal -2
Kakko 1 shot on goal... -1

 

Lucky to get a point but that's what keeps you 2 points out of 2nd place. Laf and Kakko get plenty of ice time (5th & 6th among forwards) just don't do much with it.

 

100% the Rangers do not get that point if Laf and Kak are on PP1, too.

 

So what you’re saying young players should get punished for -+. Panarin sucked all game but got rewarded with more ice time. That’s the issue with this coach. It’s ok for vets to suck but the kids the future of the team get shit on and ride the bench.

 

Having Goodrow and Vesey in Ot was borderline fireable offense.
