After spending the 2002 season on the Broncos' practice squad, he played in all 16 games in 2003 and logged 63 tackles (51 solo) and 12 special teams tackles. He has seen limited action the last two seasons and was released by the Broncos last September.Kerry CarterKerry Carter, RBCarter is a third-year player who has had playing time with the Seattle Seahawks the last three years. He has served as a kick returner for the Seahawks, with 29 career returns for a 21.8-yard average. Tthe 6-1, 238-pounder also had seven career carries for 13 yards with the Seahawks.Jonathan Combs, RBCombs was on the Redskins' practice squad at the start of the 2005 regular season, but was released on Sept. 22. He originally signed with the Redskins in May 2005 and played in three preseason contests. Combs finished his college career at Texas College in Tyler, Texas. He finished his final season rushing for 1,147 yards on 156 attempts with 10 touchdowns.Ataveus Cash, WRCash is a third-year wide receiver out of Hampton. The 6-1, 205-pounder has spent time on the New York Giants' practice squad and active roster from 2003-05, but has not had any game action. He spent spring 2005 in NFL Europe.LaShaun Ward, WRWard, 5-11 and 198 pounds, is a third-year wide receiver who played for the Kansas City Chiefs (and Al Saunders) in the 2003-04 seasons. He played in one NFL game, returning a kick for the Chiefs in 2003. Ward spent time with the Oakland Raiders last year. He played his collegiate ball at Cal.Tyler Jones, KA first-year place kicker out of Boise State, Jones spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears last year. He was briefly on the Bears' practice squad last season. The 6-1, 201-pounder was an All-American following his senior season at Boise State.Aric Williams, CBWilliams was a two-year starter at Oregon State from 2003-04, earning All-PAC 10 honors his senior season. The 5-11, 172-pound corner signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted rookie free agent but was released prior to the start of the regular season.Ron Johnson, WRJohnson, a 6-2, 225-pound receiver out of Stanford, has been in the league since 2002. With the Baltimore Ravens from 2002-04, he caught 11 passes for 126 yards and one touchdown. He spent time with the Chicago Bears last season.Casey BramletCasey Bramlett, QBBramlett was a seventh-round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2004. He spent his rookie season as the Bengals' third quarterback, backing up Carson Palmer and Jon Kitna. The 6-4, 225-pound quarterback was allocated to NFL Europe in spring 2005 and started for the Hamburg Sea Devils. He was released by the Bengals on Sept. 4, 2005. He played his college ball at Wyoming.Jesse Lumsden, RBLumsden is a native of Burlington, Ontario who starred with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League last season. The 6-2, 224-pound running back signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2005 but was released during training camp. He returned to play for the Tiger-Cats, who had selected him with the sixth overall pick in the CFL. He ran for 307 yards and added 11 catches for 153 yards.Karon Riley, DERiley is a fifth-year player who, at 6-2 and 268 pounds, can play both linebacker and defensive end. He has played for the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons from 2001-04 and the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League in 2005. He has played in 25 NFL games, recording 12 tackles.Jonta Woodard, OTWoodard is a 6-5, 325 offensive lineman out of Louisville. Re: 'skins Sign 18 New Guys to Roster Most of them won't make the 53 man roster. Some will make practice squad. But Jesse Lumsden most likely will. He signed a 2 year contract. http://tsn.ca/cfl/news_story.asp?id=151800Unless all players are signed to contracts like that and some get cut. Im not too familiar on how long contracts usually are in signings like this.
