People are speculating it's a heart attack or a stroke.

Some dick updated his wikipedia to say "was the coach." What kind of tool rushes over there to update that.

Sounds like he had a pretty big heart attack! Prayers for TSO … Go Cougs!

No disrespect, is there some significance to this coach?

Just saw a thread about an NBA Hall of Famer who passed and it’s on the OT page for some reason.

He had a good run at Wazzu. Leach is a well known college football coach.

Well, Mike Leach is a current coach in the sport he coaches in, and also used to coach in the region.

Not saying it shouldn't be in the OT section (it should be), but I am willing to bet that the vast majority of us never saw Paul Silas play, and I would bet there's a majority who don't really know who he is. The guy retired almost 43 years ago.

I recall Paul Silas. Then again, I’m one of the old farts.

Reading this, and having seen the post above which said:

I'm a terrible person thinking how fitting it is that a man obsessed with pirates will soon be...

    Nah, I can't finish it.

I didn't agree with his politics but he was the kind of crazy outspoken person that this world neeeds more of.

I always thought he was hilarious. His teams were fun to watch. He had a good 60 minutes segment about him several years ago.

Crazy to lose a guy like that in the middle of his career.
