    Brooklyns trash.
    Gsw is trash

I swear I read these things earlier this season.

Lol. Must be nice to tell oneself they are always right and know all about the nba by constantly changing stances to fit the moment.
    Cracks me up….

    They are trash.

The only thing trashier in the NBA is the Lakers and their fans.

I have a hard time believing that

to start with, Noel supposedly is still hobbled by a bad knee. Shades of Ezeli and every other backup C Portland has had sitting in street clothes behind the bench

but more than that is Noel's salary is 9.2M. Try and come up with a trade that keeps Portland under the tax line (because why would they become a tax-payer for Noel?)

about the only trade that makes any sense at all would be Payton + Greg Brown for Noel. And that would only make sense if the prognosis on Payton isn't good. But then why would Detroit trade for an injured small guard on a 3 year contract when they are already loaded with guards and Noel is essentially an expiring contract?

Because either nerlens agent or nerlens gm knows Portland needs to make a trade to balance out the roster, and hopes this will create false interest in Nerlens so they can get more for him.

Send Payton to GS, Wiseman to Detroit.
But still doesn't make tons of sense. I don't mind Noel, I just don't know how much he offers us over Eubanks

I'd rather have Wiseman over Noel right now.

Why Luke Kornet's Contest is effective for the Celtics

    https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/35240700/luke-kornet-contest-effective-boston-celtics

WHEN WILL HARDY first saw Boston Celtics center Luke Kornet's weird trick to contest 3-pointers, he was bemused.

"I thought it was absolutely f---ing hilarious," Hardy, who spent last season as an assistant with the Celtics before becoming head coach of the Utah Jazz this summer, told ESPN.

"'You're 20 feet from the ball. Why are you jumping?' But, then on film you watch it, and you're like, 'Dude, for a second the shooter can't see the basket.'"

Seeing the 7-foot-2 Kornet leap straight up like he's challenging a dunk when the opposing shooter is on the other side of the court certainly messes with the common perception of 3-point defense.

And, as strange as it looks, it appears to be having a legitimate effect.

Been saying for years that KAT is this generation's Shareef Abdur-Rahim (i.e., Mr. Empty Stats):

That team has so fucked itself acquiring Gobert that the only thing left for it to do is trade KAT for a bunch of picks/prospects to a team that is dazzled by his 3 point shooting.
