I like that Sharpe keeps his cool after those plays. No screaming and chest pounding. Just another day at the office.

Great to see the kid find his shot again...he's going to be an amazing player....his rookie wall was brutal for a long stretch though so it's not like he's earned more burn until the last couple good games but I'm glad he's got natural lateral speed and defensive instincts....all he needs really is to get up to speed on player tendencies and schemes and this kid should be ready to rock and roll. Payton is going to help him with defense

Is anyone else concerned about how often he comes down hard on one leg?

The way he sky's kind of reminds me of Clyde the Glide.

Imagine the amount of press he’d be getting if he suited up for the dreaded purple and piss. The media would be proclaiming him as the next Talen Horton-Tucker

Imagine the amount of press he'd be getting if he were a rotation-level NBA player.

Chauncey disagrees with you. So do I.

I thought he would need a few years of seasoning, but he is giving us quality minutes NOW. I can't recall having a player look this good this young play for us, and I'm old. Granted, we haven't had many players as young as Shaedon.

Also, people on this thread have been talking about his leaping ability and how he just seems to hang in the air. Dare I say, he doesn't hang, he "Glydes". <<running away quickly>>

I might be wrong but I think the platypus might have been mixing snark, sarcasm, and snipe in subtle hidden-green-font jab at narratives. Or, I'm giving him way too much credit

Nah, I actually think it's accurate to state that with a healthy roster, he's not one of the 10 most impactful players on the squad. I see the talent, I see the ridiculous physical tools, I see the smoothness, I see the potential--I wouldn't want to give him up in a trade, and I expect him to be an all-star before his career is over...but at this point, he is not yet worthy of national hype. I'm actually OK with sacrificing wins this year for the purpose of developing the most promising young player on our roster, but if we're actually trying to win games now, he doesn't really help with that yet.

Also, as I say this, remember that I've previously stated that I clearly know nothing about basketball, so take my analysis with a canister of salt.

I think you give this kid a couple years and he's going to be amazing. We see flashes right now, but I think after a couple summers of working in the gym, he'll be unstoppable.

I think that if he has the handle and confidence to go at a big on the perimeter and actually take advantage of that mismatch, we need to make effort to get him into that situation once or twice a game, just to see what he can/will do.

If Sharpe is scoring this team can be dangerous.

Wish the team could throw more lobs to him. Not just to get him involved in the offense, but to add another aspect to the offense that that defense will have to worry about.
