1. Offensive Line - It's pretty poor and needs retooling/depth. 2. Wide Reciever - The WR position is young/raw, Jimmy Smith is slowing, they need veteran help. This team could do a lot of damage in Free Agency, they have a lot of cap room.
They definately need to look in depth for Offensive Line. You have to protect your Quarterback and that is the most important thing around your team.
Reggie Wayne anyone ?? Cough Cough Or how about the Edge ? they could have two solid backs in Fred Taylor and in Edgerin James too
I don't think the Jag's should waste all that money on Edge when they have no offensive line and 2 solid runningbacks as is.
Edge would be a waste of money for them. Wayne would be a good pickup, as they could definitely use a WR of his calibur to take the place of aging Jimmy Smith.
O-line would definitely be priority if I'm the Jags. I think they are actually pretty set at WR. Ernest Wilford and Matt Jones will both be good and Reggie Williams is good enough to support. Jimmy Smith is on his way out, but still has a couple good years in him. They might look at a veteran WR for support.
I heard they were interested in Clements, but he got franchised so he's no longer a option. I'm guessing they'll address corner in the draft.in FA I think they should go after Edge, and find depth at O-line before anything else, and possibly OLB is Akin Ayodele leaves.
