    I need some clarification:
    1. Am I predicting if we will make the playoff or am I giving my opinion if we should tank or not?
    2. Does making the play-in games count as making the playoffs or do we have to win their play-in game?

    If it wasn't for NBA playoffs and Portland being part of them for so many years, is why there are multitudes of Blazer podcasts and this forum has stuck for many moons.

    Of course we want to make the playoffs...Chauncey has never coached a playoff series. We should be better as a team in the spring than we are now in the fall. I expect to see a better team after the deadline.

    If there ever were a season to push your chips all-in to win a title, this season is it. There is not a dominant team in the league, especially in the West. The leader in the West has changed 3-4 times in over a week.

    ....and a 20ppg SG and an all-out hustle SF, a center who can be good when he wants to be, a back up 'big' that might be the most efficient in the NBA, a defensive genius with a ring.....and we are 3rd from the bottom in the Western Conference.

    The total isn't adding up to what it should. Not expecting them to be at the top, but this is downright embarrassing.

    A constant with the Stotts years is I would look at the roster before the season and think, "welp, we're not making the playoffs!" and we would always overachieve and make the playoffs. Before this season I thought "this is a play-in team". Let's just say we haven't overachieved.

    Now, that's not to say that, when this team plays the way Chauncey wants them to play, they're not fun. God knows there was nothing like the second quarter of last night's game when Stotts was coach. So I guess we don't get the wins now but we do get some fun times sprinkled in with the misery?
