My driveway is a skating rink....at least an inch and a half of solid ice..had to be really careful just getting to the woodshed and bringing in the wood this morning which is only about a 10 ft walk from my porch. Just got a roaring fire going and time to make some chorizo and eggs and watch the world through the windows.

I'm not in Eugene...I'm in the coastal range...Eugene is in the valley but south Eugene is in the hills....I'm 40 minutes from the coast and 30 minutes drive from downtown Eugene. The entire west coast of Oregon is a mountain range for you city kids who only know downtown and the airport!

There was a chance of us spending Christmas in Denver….we just found out we are going to make it in since we won’t land til 1:30am.

My son was supposed to fly in tonight from LA and his flight along with 90% of Alaska flights into Portland have been cancelled. All flights form PDX>SEA are now cancelled.

Just walked to the local plaid pantry. A dude said he was from Utah and this is worse than anything he’s experienced in Utah. I was like that’s why I’m walking bruh. End of story.

Her fam is in Texas. We're probably gonna be moving to Dallas in a few years. Getting sick of LA, the weather is great, but crime and cost of everything sucks here.

So this means you'll celebrate Christmas in June and Valentine's Day in August?

I've got fam down in the Dallas/Fort worth area too and other parts. I was born in SE Texas. Very humid there in the summer.

My wife's, son's, and mother's birthdays are all in May. Then my mother in laws is first day of June. It's like paying for two Christmas months because I get everyone presents both those times.

Yup. First time I went there, I got out of the Air Conditioned car and my glasses fogged up. I have to see if I can live there, we'll see whats up. It seems ok out there (Frisco/Plano) but will be doing trips to check out neighborhoods and vibes.

My late half brother was born and raised in Dallas ..played football at Texas A&M and practiced law in Dallas until he passed away a few years ago. His mom, my dad's first wife was one of the first in the 1940s to come out as lesbian and spend her life with her true love, a lovely woman...ahead of her time in Texas. I couldn't live in that state myself. Not my idea of a good time.
