    Gustavs is boo-boo now.
    Haven’t been for years.

Their fondue used to be amazing, then their serving size went to … and they changed the menu / I feel like became more “corporate” or “standardized”.

Yup. Its so expensive now, like $5 a taco now. I think the kids took over and "modernized" it.

I kinda stopped going. Its only like 10-15 min from me too. Lines have died down with the price increase.

Phở Hùng on Powell is incredible. At least it was 10-20yrs ago when my girlfriend (now my wife) and I were going frequently.

Food was incredible. But the best part was the way the guy answered the phone. It hung on a wall right in the middle of the main walkway. Front and center of the dining room.

He'd raise raise the receiver to his ear and (in the most vietnamese accent you can imagine) would yell "TEL-EE-FONE!" instead of "hello".
