January 30, 2006 12:32 PM ET Browns: Bentley coming home? The NewsPro Bowl center LeCharles Bentley, a free agent this offseason, has told friends he'd like to return to his native Cleveland and play for the Browns, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Our ViewWe're sure home would be nice, but we're also pretty sure LeCharles will wind up playing wherever the money is greenest. The Saints wouldn't want to lose a key component of their front line if they intend on drafting a quarterback, and they should have the cap room to make at least a competitive offer. The Browns, meanwhile, already have former first-round pick Jeff Faine at center, though Bentley has played guard in the past. Fanball.com
That would be a very good addition for Romeo and the Browns. Him, Faine, and Andruzzi in the middle of an offensive line is a scary thought.
I'd like to see Bentley signed to replace Andruzzi. Andruzzi is washed up and is no good. Coleman is much younger and better.
Andruzzi is washed up. He missed the latter part of the season and was constantly called for timely penalties.
