It really comes down to lapses defensively up the middle. The team allowed about 24 points right up the middle. Late....I get it...both centers are out. But early.....it's either execution, or concentration. The team makes an amazing effort/play ....and gives an easy 2 point lay up in response. Over and over. I think the personnel is there to be in the upper half of the playoff seedings. Not sure if the attitude is.
I'll just say how much it cracks me up when I don't think we will win 60 games that I am told how I'm not loyal...don't know anything about the game or that I'm a pessimist. I've never been told but by a VERY small few that I have realistic views. ALWAYS negative shit tossed my way. I'm cool though, I see it how it is.
I don’t think you’re a pessimist. I do think that the league is pretty wide open this season. I don’t know that anyone can safely predict what is going to happen.
You're asking guitar players to play bass and wondering why the beat is off. We need more depth at the 4/5. I have zero expectations this season. Holding out hope Cronin can execute on his vision over the next 2 years.
I think they know exactly who they are and they are doing pretty much what i expected. We might even see some changes in the roster that address some needs. Second half of the season will be a good run and they will enter the playoffs strong as long as they remain fairly healthy. Would love to see them play a really good series. If they can get through the first round all the better.
Inconsistent would imply the team is has stretches where they are phenomenal and stretches where they are poor. I'd say they are consistently a middling mediocre team, clearly not a contender and clearly not rebuilding. So no, I don't buy that.
Considering we were the #1 seed after 14 games but are 9-14 since, I’d say that sounds inconsistent to me. We’ve blown out Denver, beat healthy Phoenix twice, and then Pelicans without Dame. We also went 0-2 vs OKC. Inconsistent couldn’t be more true.
