South Florida came into the BIG EAST this year with lousiville and Cincinatti. They beat Lousiville and got very good publicity. They didnt win any big games after that except cinci to become bowl eligible for the secong time. Then they made it to there first bowl apperance and although a loss they still had a great time and andre my man with 118 rushing yards. Now in there ninth year in ncaa football i think that is pretty good. How do you guys think they will become in years to come?

As a Mountaineer fan and alum I happy to have USF in the new Big East. I think they will eventually win a couple of BE championships. They have the pedigree down there in FL and their recruiting classes are getting much better.

I dont think it will ever be as nationally reaconized as the other Florida schools are, but they are definately making steps in the right direction. However, the Big East is not a very strong conference anymore.... Syracuse has really fallen off the map in recent years, Pittsburgh is well on its way to falling off the map after hiring Wannstedt, and outside of Louisville and West Virginia its not very deep. Rutgers and USF need to come up big for the next few years to give the Big East a little bit of credibility, and thats a scary thought.
