As I understand, he was pressuring a female co-worker and was asked to cut it out and didn’t. It was cheating that got him fired. It was sexual harassment in the work place. I would not want him in Portland. I’m still wondering if Billups is truly a rapist and I don’t want that here either.

They always say you have to be careful when things are going your way. That’s when the devil gets you. Look at Will Smith. The table was set for a great night for him at the Oscars last year and then he ruins it by slapping Chris Rock. Success can be a very hard thing to handle.

If you aren't happy with the team, fire the GM. The roster is way more important than the coach.

they already fired the GM who hired the coach and the one most responsible for the roster issues

I'd be in favor of Ime as coach, but only for the Mrs. HCP jokes.

    Maybe too soon...

Where I see the problem in all of this is that you have cornered the conversation into divorce.
First off not everyone is married. Next as I recall only about half of marriages end in divorce.
Then the conversation is about work practices not relationships.
Yea it happens. Of course it happens. Even the Thorns coach was fired for sexual harassment. My point is that it doesn’t happen all the time and certainly not at this level. It can for sure. Even an ex president dealt with infidelity.
My point also is it’s very wrong. It’s unacceptable and as far as this thread goes? Why would the Blazers even consider going there?
Not a morality issue just a plain stupidity issue. Plenty of other options.

I'm a huge fan of Snyder's. I met him and became friendly when we were in high school. Awesome guy! Super intense and a very good coach. But, anyone that has a problem with Billup's or Udoka's past, probably should do some homework on Snyder's past indiscretions.
The bar is set very low for moral integrity in the NBA. There are coaches, players, owners, etc all around the league with worse allegations than any of these three that I've mentioned.

Snyder is a Northwest guy too.

This team needs a roster overhaul, not a coaching change though

If Billups is fired this season Scott Brooks will be the coach.

well, anything is possible short term, team might play good bball, but it might not be sustainable

he couldnt get it done with okc that had durant & westbrook, 3x conference finals & finals, with the wizards he got to the 2nd round once, where he lost to the boston in 7 games, lost twice in the 1st round and twice missed the playoffs, but to be fair, last three seasons with the wizards were ruined given that wall suffered injuries and that outcome was to be expected

doesnt seem like a great coach, nor a bad one, maybe slightly better than terry stotts, certainly better than current chauncey billups
