    Thankfully, we don't have stotts. We have a competent coach now. Light years ahead of stotts and there's no debate on that.

    It's just inconceivable to me that this group could be playing so poorly together now when they played so well together a couple of months ago. It's like when Dame got hurt the two times everything got messed up with the team development, but we've not taken one step back from where we were when we were 9-3, we've taken a dozen steps back.

    These guys have no idea how to play together. They can't even do simple things. They dribble off their own feet, pass at each other's shins, take shots that aren't there, don't even look at the basket when shots are, miss layups badly, miss foul shots, and foul constantly. The one thing they did well tonight that they've been consistently poor at in previous is the guards finally timed their move off the screens so Nurk didn't get called for three fouls setting them.

    I don’t think the coaching makes any difference. I think the roster is fucked. Better hope for some serious player development from Ant and Sharpe…

    Portland loses these game down the stretch because their offense disappears and their defense is disorganized. That's a sign of weak coaching IMO

    WE DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT ROSTER TO TANK!!!

    Joe is obviously committed to Dame so he needs to make moves to get more guys around him like JG that logically complement Dame. I also think he is committed to Chauncey so he needs to go get players that make sense in his defensive scheme. I think Chauncey is fluid when it comes to his offensive philosophy but his switching defense that meets the pick and roll high is pretty in stone. We don't have the right guys to do that. Joe needs to pull some levers and make the roster make sense.

    I'm not a fan of that logic. Last year was brutal and given our assets, a full rebuild could be 5 years of pain just to get back to where we are today.

    Dame isn't untradable, but it would have to be an amazing package to let him go.
