The Western Conference is nuts! We have a three game win streak and it's currently the longest in the conference. The only team with a better win streak than us right now is Milwaukee. It's Milwaukee with 6 straight, us with 3 and then a bunch of teams with two.

LETS MAKE IT 4 STRAIGHT!!! GO BLAZERS!!!

I don’t know if I can handle another predictable slow start. Please stop it.

We have a chance to go to 6th tomorrow. If Minny and Jazz lose tonight and then Phoenix and Golden State lose tomorrow, and we win, we’re 6th in West.

Should be another good game. DeRozan is the king of the mid-range and if Zach gets going he is big trouble.

Vucevic could be the problem actually. What ever happened to Lonzo Ball? Looked like he was gonna be good.

He's injured and before that was really good sooooo.... He's been injured for a while.

Like to have a guy like Lonzo on POR. Excellent passer, ball handler, defense, good length. Hope he gets healthy;

ouch. you better get some shut eye.

This one might be a tough one to get. NBA schedule sucks.
That storm that hit them in Tennessee hits them again in DC. Then on a B2B in Chicago they need to get rested and ready to play in about 12-14 hours.

Look for shots to be short. Hopefully they can get some inside game going? Seriously speaking Billups probably should look to using the bench a bit more in this game and ugly it up as much as possible?
Why not Give Walker, Keon, ???Payton??? some bigger minutes with Watford. Not saying start them or anything just use a bit deeper rotation for this game and see what happens if they are obviously running on empty?

Blazers come back to Portland and play a very tough first game back Monday against the Bucks that they do not match up well against at all.

we know the strategy....Blazers will solve the Giannis match-up problem by passively switching Ant & Dame onto him at every screen

Watched Dame guard Porzingas. He looked down at Dame and said "Fuck it... I'm just gonna shoot it". Thing is on the next possession he brought the ball down just low enough for Dame to tap it just enough for him to try to pass out and Sharpe picked off the pass.
I think the Blazers did a good job in the second half of trying to deny Porzingas the ball at times. Once he got it he was tough to handle but keeping him from getting it seemed to work.

if you thought the Wizards might be bad....

wait until you see what Chicago looks like

I'd be happy with even a mediocre start....say, down by 10 in the first Q.

Not sure why they start out so slow. It seems to be a different reason for each game. Last night they were just not ready to play. Dame missed some layups and jump shots he did not miss the rest of the game. Eubanks missed an easy layup as well. And on D they let Beal get a tip on his own missed shot to start out the game while Porzingis started out hot. I guess just a lack of focus and intensity.

We were just feeling them out. Once we understood what they were doing on both sides of the court, they took off and dominated. Remember, at halftime down 18, our asst coach said “we’re in good shape.”

Yeah, but you told me the Blazers weren't going to start playing until 8pm tonight in Chicago....

Did I just hear that right? blazers are 6-2 on the 2nd half of back to backs?
