Nice post, I'm glad the NFL Network will be showing the combine again this year. Quick question does anyone have a complete list of free agents? I cant find a list at ESPN or any other sites and I know they have them.

Philip Rivers is being "eased" into his new starting role? Mon 9/11 at Oakland 10:15 pm Sun 9/17 Tennessee 4:15 pm bye Sun 10/1 at Baltimore 1:00 pm Sun 10/8 Pittsburgh 8:15 pm Sun 10/15 at San Francisco 4:15 pm Sun 10/22 at Kansas City 1:00 pm Sun 10/29 St. Louis 4:05 pm Sun 11/5 Cleveland 4:15 pm Sun 11/12 at Cincinnati 1:00 pm Sun 11/19 at Denver 4:15 pm Sun 11/26 Oakland 4:05 pm Sun 12/3 at Buffalo 1:00 pm Sun 12/10 Denver 4:15 pm Sun 12/17 Kansas City 4:05 pm Sun 12/24 at Seattle 4:15 pm Sun 12/31 Arizona 4:15 pmHe gets two of the easier teams in the league to play to start the year, and then a week off to review. He gets a tough defense two weeks in a row to challenge his game, and then he gets 4 straight easy weeks again, to rebuild his confidence. He then gets a couple of fairly tough games in Cinci and Denver to see if he grew enough from his Pittsburgh and Baltimore lashing. He gets another two "rest" games after his two week trial, and then he gets to try Denver again with another decently hard game following it, and he gets to finish the season on a confidence builder in Arizona.
You can't really say that. You don't know what teams will be good or will suck next year. Pitt could go 5-11 and have the 30th ranked defense, while Oakland goes 14-2 and has the top D in the league. That won't happen, but crazy things happen every year.I think Philip will be fine. I see SD going 10-6 this season, and Rivers passing for 3,100-3,500 yards, 15-20 TD, 8-12 INT.
