If you havent been following the trial....young man by the name of Cody Posey shot and killed his father,step-mother,and sister on Sam Donaldsons ranch when he was 14 (He is 16 now).I hate the jury's verdict considering a 14 year old had the kind of life he did.Lets see some of the stuff I can think of:1.His father beats him even when he is a toddler2.His mother dies and his father shows up at the end of the funeral to take Cody and Cody tells all his relatives he doesnt want to go with his dad because he is afraid of him.3.A ranch hand seems to recall Cody's father saying he enjoyed beating Cody and it was basically a hobby.4.Many other ranchhands had first person encounters of the viewings.5.Beating after beating after beating after beating after beating.6.His father took him out of school because he had a girlfriend and then beat him some more.7.His father forced him to have sex with his mother :glare: 8.Countless other things........The most I would have given his is man slaughter (for shooting his sister who made up stuff just to see him take beatings from Pau Posey) and tampering with evidence.That means he should be out of jail by the time he is 19.Now he's racing life in prison at the age of 16! He had every right in the world to kill those people.
