He's a 6'5 guard and a good-to-great defender. He's even more averse to shooting than Hart though, and wont be a starter.
Yeah, but that's kinda the problem. Look at all these dudes who are 6'6 or under. Sharpe 6'6 Simons 6'3 Dame 6'2 Little 6'5 Winslow 6'6 Keon 6'5 GPII 6'3 It's kind of hilarious at this point.
That would be fucking badass. Don't post great ideas like this, it only sets us up for soul crushing disappointment.
I want to be abusive but I don't want to put Sly in a bad position. So that's my response to this and most of your posts.
We need to be bigger at the guard spots imo, so i'd say it's in improvement in that regard. We just have to be careful about having too many people who can't make a bucket on the floor at any one time!
We got bigger at the guard spots but we didn't get bigger/more mobile in the post. Still got problems but it would be unrealistic to think we could fix all of them, given how flawed the roster was/still is.
Interesting that so far out moves have been fairly low risk with Josh who we knew we were going to lose anyway and other players we acquired and/or picks. I will be curious if/when with who we currently have that we are willing to give up and who that is vs who we are shipping out. May give some insight on the direction they want to go with the team.
I mean sure the 2025 deadline. I'm sure you meant hours. I really hope we add some athletic size in the post between now and then we really need it.
LOL, was just coming here to post that - Smith having an off year in Indy and not playing much - fairly cheap contract so give him a shot for one of our 6'5 ish guys
We got better today and have an asset we did not have earlier in the pick. I really dont understand all the doom and gloom.
