I'll always have a soft spot in my cold heart for Greg. He is an athletic freak with a kind heart. Just no body control or feel for the game. I wish him the best!
Last season I had some interest in seeing if he could develop. But then in summer league I was very concerned, he didn't look like an NBA player. Once we saw him at the start of the season I knew he was a scrub and not worth a roster spot. Good luck to him, but glad the team has moved on. Ideally we buyout any of these other fill ins now on the roster and take some flyers on players that may have a chance of busting out to be on the roster next season.
Blazers had to cut 1 player who was on the team prior to any of the trades happening so that they could be completed. Cutting Brown vs Knox was never an option for Portland.
