Lakers did a great job. Almost like someone is helping Lebron with his epic run, that could be cashed on Netflix in few years. They made impossible trades. Getting rid of "vampire of the locker room" alone should cost them more. They got Vander and MoBamba, (that "supposed" to be Blazers targets as well, so double damage for Portland), for nothing.
All in all, West is interesting as hell and I am looking forward, what Lakers can do. And Mavs and Suns. And how will Dever find themselves in it. Can Warriors make another run with healthy Klay? Are Memphis real deal? Can CJ pull something with NO? West is so unpredictable right now. Sadly, sans Blazers.

Call me crazy but I think the Nets will still make the playoffs and are actually a super-fun team now. Jacque Vaughn coached a Dinwiddie-led plucky team of scrubs in the Bubble season, and now he's back to it, only with a lot more talent. I don't hold out hope for Simmons any more, but this is the perfect setting for him to rehab a bit.

It's just cause it's LA. If that GM came here, he wouldn't be able to do shit.

Oops just posted this in the GP2 thread. Anyway. This is news to me. Seems…unlikely but who knows. Are guys wanting out? They probably see what the fans see as far as potential to win here.

It certainly looked like Roco wanted out and maybe always NP. Why, I have no idea.

Three teams with pretty smart management. Portland could have got his bird rights for a couple second round picks. A lot cheaper than the more than four FRP's which Memphis offered for Mikal Bridges.
Jazz, Pacers and Spurs expected to show interest in Jalen McDaniels this summer

Teams expected to show interest in McDaniels this summer include the Utah Jazz, Indiana Pacers, and San Antonio Spurs, league sources told HoopsHype. Philadelphia, however, will be able to use McDaniels’ Bird Rights to try and retain him this offseason.
