Riddle me this batman, why does Hines Wards ALWAYS smile when he catches the ball? When he runs, HE SMILES! What is up with that? No doubt, he's a great reciever, but WHY DOES HE SMILE????????!!!!!!! :ninja: :ninja:
I thought about it a while ago, I think it's both a nervous habit or something or he's just plain having fun out there. He loves the game, no doubt.
Thats just the way he looks, don't make fun of him.... Oh yeah, he likes to laugh when he get tackle lol. He is a tough S.O.B
I noticed that during the SB, mostly on that flee flicker when they had it on his like body and zoomed in a bit so you could see his face...I didnt know if he was smiling or just its like his reaction or something. Like some people make faces when focusing or trying to do something.Oh well he's still the SB MVP
It is crazy. I remember seeing him make a grab over the middle and getting JACKED UP and had a smile on his face the whole time.
yea during the SB he got lvled but once he got up u could c this huge grin on his face and was like..."Man he must be pretty damn tough"
I bet alot of other players do that too, but since Hines ward never wears a mouthpeice it stands out more.
Im serious guys, its just his normal face, He is always on KDKA for me when he is doing an interview and he does the exactly same thing.. He is awesome!!
I remember in an interview I saw on Pittsburgh Foxsports that he smiles because he never wants to let his opponent know if he is hurt and plus he is a positive person.

He just loves the game, you have to love a guy who loves the game no matter what...and this is a Cowboys fan showing respect for a Steelers player...
for some people that might be his habit,or hes just happy because he caught it,like whenever i do good in an event at a swim meet or i win i always smile because im so happy
Hines smiles all the time because 1. he's having fun 2. to intimidate his opponent(no matter how hard you hit him he'll laugh at you and smile in your face) 3. to annoy you
