Just looked at tonight’s lineup. I really like it. Vesey and Goodrow on the fourth with Gaut. That’s a very good fourth line. Kravtsov is in on the third where he belongs. The two top lines are actually legit top NHL lines on paper. On paper they look good at least.
I agree Step. In a perfect world Kravtsov steps up and can play in the top 9. He is a top 9 player style and fit wise, and it gives us maybe the best 4th line in the NHL with Vesey and Goodrow anchoring. That is a really deep forward group. And if you look on D, with Mikkola and Schneider as your 3rd pair, you are in real good shape IMO.
@MollieeWalkerr PP1: Panarin-Zibanejad-Chytil-Kreider-Fox PP2: Kakko-Lafrenière-Tarasenko-Trocheck-Trouba
I don’t know how responsible Tar is defensively but he is -18 this season. That’s awful. Panarin is a turnover machine. They need to play in opponent’s zone for majority of time otherwise it won’t be pretty in the defensive zone.
I watched this defenseman play one period. They need to sign him to a three-year extension right now. He’s only making 1.9 million if they can get him for 2.5 for the next three years do it.
Drury must have used the Jedi mind trick to get the Blues to give him up also in the deal. I would think they could’ve traded him to a ton of teams at the deadline, considering how physical he is. Nice to see the dumbass coach is actually setting up the power play similar to what I said that stubborn jackass with one time options on both sides.
missed most of the period but from I've seen the team is much better. Still shaky defensively. Run and gun hockey. Tighten up defensively and they would be tough to beat.
The only thing that kept this game close was the officiating. What a way to introduce yourself to the Rangers crowd with the first goal of the game Vlad! The Garden was rocking and goals from Kakko and Lindgren. Defense played a little loose won't get away with that crap tomorrow with a true test.
Im wondering if Gallant will start Harpur instead of Mikolla (whatever his name is) tomorrow. Taking two penalties (the delay of game penalty was a bad call, can't fault him for that) which led to a PP goal...on the ice for that Tanev goal.
