He’s actually shooting 43.8% from 3s this month after last night game

Shaedon baseline swinging sledge hammer grabbed #1 on NBA's top plays of the night.

As it should. Wait until he's starting , getting 35 minutes a game and taking 15-20 shots instead of 9.

Except Shaedon gets more elevation than George did when he was younger. . George measured 6' 8.75" in shoes at the combine. He's about 2 inches taller than Sharpe. George does not float in the air like Sharpe does.

A lot of those highlights of PG made him look like he was an old man even back then.

Yeah, there was one where George twirled and barely got the ball in on the way down. Nothing out of the ordinary, or maybe less than ordinary.

This is more what I expect (and already seeing) from Sharpe:

I moved to Indy right when PG was starting to take the reins from Granger and paid close attention. He was so hesitant back then but broke out in that playoff run that ended with him going against both Lebron and Melo in back to back series. Shaedon needs reps in the worst way. Run a bunch of plays for him, let him mess up and see diff coverages, and improve his bbiq. The talent is definitely there, just need to extract it.

The skill is there on defense too. He needs reps against the Best, not against the Bench. I think he'll learn the tendencies of opponents and use his athleticism/skills to become a very good defender.

Also George legitimately grew like 2 inches after coming to the league.

Anyone else look at Shaedons dunks and think it's like when you were in your 20s and found a 9' or 8' hoop and you'd dunk on it?

He totally looks like he's dunking on a shorter hoop because of just how gawdy his jumping ability is.

How tall is he now? Is he taller than listed? Wondering if Sharpe will grow some more?

Shaedon's takeoff from inside the FT line Clyde Drexler dunk should have been ahead of some of those.

Kuzma made a shot farther than Holiday did at the buzzer, didn’t make the top 10 and then got posterized at number 1. Good times.

    some more:

    Kobe: 15.5 mpg, 7.6 pts, 1.9 rebs, 1.3 asts, 41.7% fg, 37.5% 3pt, 14.4 PER

    TMac: 18.4 mpg, 7.0 pts, 4.2 rebs, 1.5 ast, 45% fg, 34.1% 3pt, 17.4 PER

    Kawhi: 24 mpg, 7.9 pts, 5.1 rebs, 1.1 asts, 49.3% fg, 37.6% 3pt, 16.6 PER

    Lavine: 24.7 mpg, 10.1 pts, 2.8 rebs, 3.6 asts, 42.2% fg, 34.1% 3pt, 11.3 PER

all age 19, except for PG and Kawhi who were both 20 their rookie years. Shaedon is trending in the right direction. Needs to rebound more like he has been doing and his efficiency will go up. His FT shooting (67%) is what is currently letting his TS% down which is in turn bringing his PER down.

Maybe it’s bias, but Sharpe looks way better than Lavine or Brown did as a rookie.

Lavine was simply a play finisher and Brown was a hustle guy more than anything. I was baffled when Brown went #3 and I was a Brown fan. Seeing how much better both those guys got is only getting me more excited about Sharpe. What separates Sharpe and Lavine/Brown is that Sharpe is flashing major shot creation ability already.
