    Two went by when I was walking to the store after work. When I got out of the store, it looked a lot worse, but luckily the bus came quickly. It was slow going but I wasn't going too far on the bus the rest of the way.

    The lane going towards Gresham was a parking lot. Cars going nowhere and getting stuck...everyone going home. I was luckily headed the other way and traffic wasn't as bad.

    Wanna give an immense shout-out to @PtldPlatypus for saving the day! Got my car pulled up the hill and down the street a bit where I was then able to drive it home. I can't thank you enough! This community really pulls though. Beyond grateful and appreciative.

    I'm not even going to think about that line going to Gresham. I was coming out of Gresham and it was 2 hours to go a mile or two.

    These will make for a funny story later but in the moment it's just thunderdome and youre only thought is "how do I get home".

    Right after I abandoned my car last night there was a guy just 50 feet from me on the phone and I asked if he needed help, he was just like "I live in Oregon city". I can't even imagine what that would have felt like. From Gresham to Oregon city and being stuck.

    I agree with everything except the rig part. My 2003, V8 4 Runner with all terrain snow tires has traversed through some amazing snowstorms trekking over the cascades and also Lake Roosevelt outside of Spokane during blizzard like conditions. Climbed up and down some crazy hills during snow storms too.

    Rear locking differentials are an amazing thing when dealing with the ice

    It's supposed to be a few degrees above freezing so afternoon/early evening may be good but Saturday it should mostly be gone.
