I hate them being on the outside looking in with a huge road trip in front of them. They simply have not won enough home games. Other than the Clippers who have played 500 ball on the road most of the top teams have decent home records. Blazers with 17-14 at home is tough to see. No question they could have won 2 or 3 more home games.

No Curry, Green or Wiggins? Winning streak doubles?

Love the reason Payton is listed as put in the root post!

the media spin that Zion didn't want to be a Pelican was total b.s. (NBA player media rumors are all time pathetically horrible lately, as we saw Portland get zapped by headline grabbing lies during the Payton debacle).
Big Z was bringing it this year until his injury. He seemed elated to be playing once again and got voted to the All-Star game. Those hamstring injuries can take awhile to heal up.

Or... maybe the Pelicans want to out tank Portland and grab a higher draft position?

So if Lillard drops 60 tonight in San Francisco does that make it better? I mean it won't be "In Portland" that way right?

they have a swap lined up with the Lakers. Probably won't have their own pick, especially with Lebron injured, again

At the same time, we have a better road record than the 5 teams directly ahead of us and any success in playoffs will require victory on the road.

The Trail Blazers also have a better conference win percentage (21-17) than:
    The Clippers 19-18 (5th seed)
    The Grizzlies 18-16 (2nd seed)

Grant is overdue to have a big game...I like our chances. I think the 3rd stringers are going to rally behind Dame's last solo win and get a win.

Would it surprise anyone if Cronin yanks Lillard and Grant right before tip off ??

Next 8 games may decide our seasons fate. Standings are very close, I think in that time we will see some separation.

Only 1.5 games back from GS. This game has playoff ramifications. A W tonight could be looked back on as huge.

22 games left. Need to go 13-9 to finish at .500 which should have us in the playoff picture. From there it’s a brand new season.

I hope if it's a play-in we get the 7, 8, or 9 so we have at least one home game to go to.

A good number of us don’t think the Blazers are tanking. I’m one of them.

I can totally see Nurk rocking that on the sidelines.
