The epic 4th quarter collapses would suggest that the answer is yes, even if not so stealthy.

Why do people keep calling it ‘stealth’ tanking? What about it is stealth?

We play the likes of Eubanks, Reddish etc heavy minutes. We are legitimately one of the worst teams in the league now, nothing is stealth about it.

I hope Lillard will play recreational minutes from now on, when it's so obvious. I would like to see SOMETHING from Sharpe.

This is the worst tanking/play-in contending team I've seen in my lifetime.

When Joe couldn't pull off a trade at the deadline he knew he was fucked. Listen to his post deadline presser. So we will either gut out a very low playoff seed and a first round loss that gets rid of our obligation to Chicago or we get a lotto pick and the Knicks first rounder as assets.

Joe was pretty straight forward in saying that when he realized that the deadline wouldn't be a contender building time it became an asset collecting time for him. So in this one instance we are neither tanking nor are we trying to win big. We just are and we hope that we'll have enough assets to build a contender around Dame in the off season but that has been the hope for a while.

If you throw out the first 16 games Portland’s record is within just a game or two of the tanking teams. Orlando is a handful of games better.

There’s nothing subtle about it—instead of ‘shutting guys down’ there’s the unaddressed front court issues, a pack of development players, and a rich set of naturally occurring injuries. Calling it a tank or no tank or stealth tank is more of a semantic debate than anything: it’s the same recipe.

I think we are just playing poorly. Instead of everything breaking our way—Ant exploding, Nas killing it, Shaedon being readier, Nurk being feverish and so on—we devolved into a literal example of discombobulation and I think a huge part of has to do with our coach…

…I think. Or I’m being petty because I’ve never liked Chauncey, I think because of the allegations, and a little because I just hate the way he talks? I don’t know. I know I’ve never given him a chance…

…which is either uncool or the right thing to do. It’s either the coaching of the roster or the roster itself, right? Or is it just injuries? We’ve had a lot of injuries.

I think we're poorly ran. We used to be a good franchise that could bank on a certain level of ownership "boost", fan support, etc etc. We're no longer there.

    Sucks.
